The City representative has always been open to meet with club members. This has included one on one meetings at the club with the Archery, Range and Hatchery Directors to address any issues they may have had with the terms of the agreement. He has also taken time to speak with the hatchery volunteers. However, since this is the club General Membership Meeting where the vote will be taken to accept or reject the proposed agreement with the City, the consensus is that it would not be appropriate for the City representative to participate in the meeting.
1. The “city representative” specifically stated to me that he meets just with you, the VP, and the relevant directors; NOT available to meet with other members.
2. You reacted very angrily, when you discovered that I as a member of our club had merely talked with the “city representative“ on the phone. Now, you talk as if it’s been okay all along to MEET with him?!?
“The consensus is that it would not be appropriate for the City representative to participate in the meeting.” The consensus among whom? (And, you do realize that the main definition of consensus is everyone agreeing, don’t you?)

Wow. Your blatant disingenuousness is astounding.
