The SFGC Eagles Junior Archery Team is the Semiahmoo Fish & Game Club's youth archery program. The team is affiliated with the BC Archery Association (BCAA/Archery Canada).  All the team instructors are either certified by Archery Canada or are currently working towards certification.

The Eagles program is designed to be fun and challenging for students of all skill levels, while encouraging the improvement of skills and growth within the sport. The program is structured in three teams, the Owls, Hawks and Eagles. Each team has a series of score and skill based goals students work to achieve. Once a student achieves the goals for each team level, they graduate to the next team and a new series of goals. Students start in the Owls level, then graduate to the Hawks and eventually to the Eagles team. Students who choose to join BCAA are also eligible for additional awards under the BCAA Junior Olympic Program.

Just Shooting Arrows (www.justshootingarrows.com) is a sponsor of the SFGC Eagles program and provides awards to students who achieve certain levels.  Students do not need their own equipment, the club has a variety of recurve, longbow and compound bows to use in class.

As a result of COVID-19, we will not hold a fall set of classes this year.  Throughout the fall, we will monitor the provincial and local situation with regards to the pandemic and will determine our class start date accordingly.  Currently our plan is to resume classes in January 2021 but this may change.  If you are interested in being added to our contact list to receive any new information regarding classes, please contact jop.sfgc@gmail.com.
